About the Product
The original portable game Digital Monster was released in June 1997, and more than 8 million were sold. It’s now being reprinted in Original Brown and Original Gray colors! This item fits nicely in your hand, and within it is a Digimon that grows in real time. It’s been upgraded, as well, with features like Appearing Digimon, Training and Evolution, as well as Data Transmission, Battle, and Web Link, perfect for the 20th-anniversary version.
◆ Digimon Appearing
In addition to versions 1 through 5 of Digital Monster, this version includes 134 Digimon to train, as well as a total of 154 characters! You’ll find not only Dracomon and Hackmon from the 10th and 15th anniversaries but also 20th-anniversary comemmorative Digimon. A “Special Digitama” that can’t be found unless you meet certain requirements has been added to your Digitama, an egg and the first step towards training your Digimon. You can also get Omegamon by combining the Original Brown-only Agumon and Original Gray-only Gabumon.
◆ Training and Evolution
You can now train 2 Digimon for the first time in the Digital Monster series. You’ll get to enjoy seeing them getting along, eating together, and sleeping next to each other. This will allow you to train more Digimon faster than before, so even adults can find time to play when not working.
New evolution methods like fusions during tag battles have also been added, so battling has been upgraded in addition to training.
◆ Data Transmission, Battle, and Web Link
You can battle with friends or the computer using 2 Digimon, and this feature also allows you to download a copy of your friend’s Digimon and pair it with your own Digimon for a fight. This game also allows you to register your Digimon online. The D-1 Grand Prix, the event for Digimon battles that began in the second half of the 90s, will make its comeback online and using this item, you can battle against your rivals all over Japan.
※Details about the D-1 Grand Prix will be posted later on the Digimon website.
