The theme song and main visual for the event Miku Hatsune Magical Mirai 2017 have been revealed with the latest information on its tickets!
Magical Mirai is a special annual festival in which the visitors can enjoy the never-ending creative culture of Miku Hatsune.
This year’s event will be held from 1-3 September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. Each year, the festival includes concert events and exhibitions, and 2017 will be the fifth year of the event.
On top of this, 2017 is a special year as it is the 10th anniversary of the release of the first Miku Hatsune software.

■ Hachi Produces the Theme Song Suna no Wakusei!
The theme song for Magical Mirai 2017 is to be Suna no Wakusei (Planet of Sand) produced by the famous Vocaloid producer, Hachi.
Hachi is the alias used by popular singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu, and he uses this name when producing Vocaloid songs. This is the first time in four years that Yonezu will release a song using the name Hachi!
You can hear a little bit of the song in the official commercial for Magical Mirai 2017.
■The Main Visual is Illustrated by iXima!
The main visual for this event is drawn by iXima, the well-known illustrator of the packages of singing-voice synthesizers such as Miku Hatsune V3 and Miku Hatsune V4X.
The main visual is a drawing of Miku Hatsune who is wearing a gorgeous dress and happily singing for the spectacular event!
■ Official Website Opened! Advance Ticket Reservations from 18 March!
The event’s official website has finally opened! Also, advance reservations of tickets are to be accepted from 18 March 2017.
This year, to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the event, the reservations for special tickets entitled ‘Memorial Picture Ticket’ will also be accepted in advance, and the winners of these tickets are to be chosen by lottery.
