Research: NTT Docomo Announces Rankings for Winter 2017 TV Anime

Original Source

Seven weeks after the previously reported “What Are You Watching?” research in early February, the largest Japanese mobile phone operator NTT Docomo has revealed the results of its latest online research on the winter 2017 TV anime in five categories: “Want to see again from the beginning,” “Most Laughable,” “Moe,” “Burning,” and “Heart Moving.” The research was conduct with over 5,400 registered users of its anime streaming service dAnime Store between February 24 and March 3.

The positions of this season’s unexpected sleeper hit Kemono Friends are not so high in these rankings. The reason is probably because most of the fans have chosen Nico Nico Douga as its streaming platform, where they can post their comments freely. The anime’s first episode has been watched over 3,377,000 times, and it has already became the most watched TV anime first episode in the history of Nico Nico, surpassing Attack on Titan (3,203,548) and School-Live! (3,156,787).
