Live-action series adaptation premieres July
The story of the original manga centers on its straightforward and energetic protagonist Kanna Suzuki, who remains happy even with an unreasonable boss and a no-good husband and mother-in-law. She is a “super housewife” who takes care of the house and raises her kids while working as a fashion designer.
The original manga ran in Shueisha’s YOU magazine from 2001 to 2007. The manga is a sequel to Fukaya’s one-volume manga Marigold and it was followed by the three-volume sequel series KANNAsa-n! Arafō-hen (Around 40 Edition).
