Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san Takes 2-Issue Break

Original Source

This year’s 13th issue of Kodansha‘s Evening magazine revealed last Tuesday that Yasuhisa Kubo‘s Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san (You’re Being Summoned, Azazel) manga will take a two-issue break. The hiatus is due to Kubo collecting materials for the manga. The series’ return is planned for the magazine’s 15th issue on July 11.

The manga was also on hiatus from May 2014 to January 2015 and from July 2016 to February 2017.

The gag comedy story revolves around the detective Akutabe, his assistant Rinko Sakuma, and the various magical demons (such as Azazel) that Akutabe uses for his cases. The manga has been running in Evening since 2007, and the series was nominated for the 2nd Manga Taisho Award in 2009. Kodansha released the manga’s 13th compiled book volume in Japan in April 2016 and the 14th volume is slated for July 21.

The manga inspired a television anime series in 2011 and a second season in 2013. Right Stuf released both seasons on DVD in February 2015. Crunchyroll added both series in May.
