Frontwing’s “GRISAIA: Phantom Trigger” PC Game Gets Anime Adaptation

Japanese visual novel studio Frontwing has opened a teaser website for the anime adaptation project based on GRISAIA: Phantom Trigger, the latest fourth title from its popular Grisaia PC game series. How and when it will be distributed have not been announced yet. 

 

The previous three titles from the series: The Fruit of Grisaia (February 2011), The Labyrinth of Grisaia (February 2012), and The Eden of Grisaia (May 2013) were all initially released as adult visual novels for PC that contained sexually-explicit scenes/images. And their TV anime adaptations was animated by 8-Bit, produced by NBCUniversal, and aired from 2014 to 2015.

  

GRISAIA: Phantom Trigger, the first two volumes of the series’ first non-adult title was released on April 28, 2017, and the third volume is scheduled to be released on July 28. The game’s character designer Akio Watanabe (Monogatari series) is confirmed to join the anime as character designer and

chief animation director as well.

 

Watanabe says on the site, “I’ll do my best to make it as an enjoyable title for both those who are the fans

of GRISAIA and GRISAIA: Phantom Trigger and for those who see the anime as their first. So I hope to
