JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Takes Over Manhole Covers in Sendai

This summer, the JoJo Festival in S-City, Morioh Town 2017 will take place in the city of Sendai in Miyagi prefecture. The exhibition will celebrate the approaching anniversary of the manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken) by Hirohiko Araki. Included in the festivities is an exhibition of Araki’s manuscripts from 12 August to 10 September.

It has now also been announced that JoJo will be taking over 9 different manhole covers in the city of Sendai! The colorful covers provided in a collaboration between Sendai City Waterworks and Bandai Namco Entertainment are a sight to behold. If you are planning to visit Sendai during the summer then you should search for them all! As the map is in Japanese, MANGA.TOKYO have written the placement of each manhole cover down below!

The covers will be in place from Friday 4 August to Sunday 10 September 2017, so you have over a month to find them all (please note, the Kira Yoshikage cover will be put into place on Wednesday 9 August). JoJo author Hirohiko Araki is from Sendai, so you can find
