Magical Circle Guru-Guru Anime Listed With 24 Episodes Plus 'Petite' Anime Spinoff

The official website for Magical Circle Guruguru, the new anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Eto‘s original Mahōjin Guru Guru (Magical Circle Guruguru) manga, revealed on Wednesday that the anime will get a spinoff petite anime titled Guru Guru Puchi Anime Gekijō. The spinoff anime will premiere on AT-X and Hikari TV on Friday at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., respectively, and will also stream on Kadokawa‘s official YouTube channel at 10:30 p.m. every Friday, with episodes available for two weeks.

The site also revealed that the main Magical Circle Guruguru anime will run for 24 episodes, and will have six DVD and Blu-ray Disc home video volumes. The first home video volume will contain a priority ticket sales entry form for a special event at the Differ Ariake in Tokyo on January 24, 2018.

The cast of the main anime will reprise their roles for the Guru Guru Puchi Anime Gekijō anime.

Minoru Ashina (Kaiju Girls, Kōkaku Kidōtai Nyumon Arise) is directing the Guru Guru Puchi Anime Gekijō anime at Studio Puyukai. Minoru Takehara (Lord Marksman and Vanadis ONA, Agriculture Angel Baraki) is in charge of character designs. As with the main anime, TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is composing the music.
